The Ninth Version theme comes in with one of my favorites- Blueberry Lemon Hibiscus! 

This version combines junk journal ephemera and pages in more vibrant colors of blue, white, yellow, and brown. You'll find lemons whole and cut, blueberries, jars of lemonade, sugar, and vases with gorgeous blue and white hibiscus flowers. Elements sit on wooden countertops, in kitchens, and on serving shelves. 

These elements are perfect for journaling and scrapbooking your hot summer days, days by the pool, spring tea parties, and so much more! 

The Nursery Animals theme, which comes in as Version Eight, is one that was inspired by my browsing for new decor and bedding for my toddler son's room. 

These adorable adolescent animals include your favorites, in watercolor sketch style with minimal elements in the background scene. 

You'll find cows, bears, deer, dogs, mice, goats, bunnies, elephants, and a few friends throughout. Some animals are sitting on a log or wearing adorable burlap bows, while others are simply enjoying the company of their friends on a dirt path. 

These elements are perfect for journaling or scrapbooking about baby milestones, birthdays, baby showers, pregnancy journeys, and so much more! 

Theme Version Six is a delightful treat of pastel colored Macarons and gorgeous Calla Lilly flowers! 

This set includes subtle yet bright pastel pinks, blues, yellows and greens that highlight buttery treats- primarily macarons with super fluffy cupcakes sprinkled in for good measure. 

You'll find blue coffee cups filled to the brim, adorned by my absolute favorite flowers to complete the entire scene. 

These pages are perfect for spring themed junk journaling or scrapbooking, but work great any time of year to add a happy pop of color to any crafting project.

I know that a lot of you get offers to purchase downloadables, and you're not always sure exactly what you're going to get. You read all the reviews on a website and just hope for the best, sometimes not getting what you ordered, or sometimes not getting anything at all. 

The platform I use currently does not allow for reviews, and even if it did, knowing that review are valid and truthful on a website isn't always easy! 

For this reason, I've decided to keep my Etsy shop open for the time being, so you can feel more comfortable having a reputable name that you already know and trust involved in your first purchases.

As Artificial Intelligence becomes more and more popular as we move into and beyond 2024, I wanted to take a moment to address how I personally use AI tools, like Midjourney and Adobe Firefly, to create many of my junk journal ephemera spreads and items. 

It is true that I often use AI generators.

I strive to do so with fully original prompts, while also using hand drawn image inputs to set the style, color palette, and overall feel of the image pack that I am generating. This allows me to take an image that I have created and quickly generate matching images or variations of that image to deliver an entire pack that adheres to the journaling aesthetic I am trying to achieve. By not hand drawing 100+ elements and manually combining them, I am able to deliver more bundles without charging for all of the hours it would take to create each one if I did not use technological advancements. 

Combined with templates that I have created and/or collaborated with my best artistic friends in the community to create, I finish these generated images in programs like Procreate and Photoshop to complete the finished product that is delivered to my customers and friends. I further combined enhanced AI images with original journal overlays, specialized filters, brushes, and other techniques to create a truly unique product with skills that I have developed as a graphic designer over the years. 

While AI tools help to speed up the creation and variation process so we can get back to having fun and using the products that are created in my shop, my customers never receive a product that is simply typing a few words into a program and taking the image directly and selling it! 

My images are created with a combination of initial sketches for inspiration, original prompts containing a combination of sketches and words to dictate colors, subject, and style, editing and upscaling, combining with original journaling aesthetic elements and templates, and much more!
